23 avril Sunset on 32nd19 avril Under The Mushroom SunNow I have a half painted hall and toilet.. Oh! Joy.. Started playing Dungeon Siege II again… forgot how good it was.. So there goes my social life.. Oh no!.. Forgot!.. Im a single parent with two small children.. Don’t have one. Oh well.. Bugger.. Maybe if I play it for a while and then stop.. I might suddenly develop one.. No harm in giving it a try..
Biorhythm update… things are getting better, apparently.. And! If I lie and say I was born 14th June 1975 everything's much rosier.. :) but then I'd no longer be a love child of the 60's.. And I'd be living a lie. So I suppose I'll just have to face up to it.. 'You feel tired and drained, avoid exerting yourself' no problem there.. :) 'avoid contacting people you have plans with, because you wont make a good impression' er.. No problem there either.. :)
I feel much better now I've though it all through. 17 avril Har-de-har-de-harCleaned the toilet and surrounding area… that was nice. Then painted it.. Sort of.. Half done it actually.. I've done it down to inquisitive little finger level.. I'll do the rest latter.. When they have gone to be.. Probably!**
Haven't finished the hall way yet.. And my sister came here yesterday and her comment was 'you're crap at painting' ha! ha! Still it's done in 'pebbles' which strangely enough is the colour of pebbles as apposed to the front room which is Tribal dance.. Which amounts to brown.. ish.. And then the bathroom which is aubergine which is admittedly purple but nothing like the fruit.. Update... **not. *Bubblegum checks out George w. bush's biorhythms for the day and falls off his chair laughing* titter.. titter.. Oh my god!!This explains everything.. I just went here and checked my biorhythms… ..and now I'm a believer …..or something.. :) The .. 'tendency declining and getting worse' bit worries me.. AND!! Still.. That fridge scares me.. :) .. Maybe you can program it to shout when ever someone opens it.. That way I could keep my sons fridge adventures to a minimum.. Or even if you could program it to administer a short sharp electric shock…. Or like that anti car theft device in Robocop…
Maybe not. still cant think of anything.. and I did just stair at my monitor for about 5 minuits.. sorry.Don’t feel like doing anything today. In fact everything pretty much sucks today.. Maybe cos it's spring and biologically my body is yearning for change and renewal and all that wicken pagan type stuff.. And nothing actually is! Bummer. Suppose I'll just play eve then.
Update.... Oh! yeah... i did a bit more painting today.. and tedious it was too.. ....why did I start? ..oh yeah... magnolia.. now I remember. I've ran out of coffee too... bastards!
Update…. Actually that’s a lie… I've run out of instant coffee I still have my espresso machine.. Just its nearly as tedious as painting to make a cup… moan, moan, mumble, mumble... must play EVE 14 avril Cant think of anything.. sorryBlogging wasn’t the first thing I did this morning… It was attending to my daughter screaming for attention at 7.30.. Why I don't know as there was nothing wrong with here.. She just wanted to get up.. So we all had to. At 7.30 in the morning. Sometimes, if I'm lucky, I get to sleep in till maybe 8.30. Been painting the house… .. Tribal dance??? Wots that then? ..bizarre name for a paint.. It's not until about half way through any particular wall that it suddenly dawns on you that it wasn’t such a good idea after all.. I mean, walking around Focus It all seemed wonderful.. But actually standing there at home, getting covered in paint faffing about.. It's at this point that the old magnolia doesn’t seem so bad after all… Now I have a half painted hall.. Cos I gave up! One last point! On the tins of paint there is a little sticker that says 'satisfaction guaranteed' wots that about? How do they know? I might not be.. I might get home paint the walls and decide I'm not satisfied at all.. Wot then? Cant say as I'm overwhelmed with any sense of satisfaction.. But then maybe it'll come when I've actually finished it… maybe if I do one wall at a time I can prolong the feeling of satisfaction and get my moneys worth.
Update... Wot is it? When your a kid your parent cook everything for you.. And then when u first move away from home you eat crap.. Then when you reach your late 20's you start cooking stuff and then turn into your parents .. Stomping about bemoaning the state of peoples diets and cooking everything from scratch.. Maybe its just me… or just my parents even. But still.. Cooking all your own food does fill you [make that me] with a feeling of superiority and contempt for people I pass pulling out ready meals from the frozen food section at my local Coop [fare trade don’t you know] Still… they probably have jobs or something.. Busy lifestyles.. No time to cook Meanwhile I'm gonna get some satisfaction from playing computer games.. EVE Online. 13 avril Day twoWoke up this morning and I still have the blog buzz... in fact it was the first thing I did after crawling out of bed.. past the kids.. to roll a fag and drink a cold coffee from last night..
I was so looking forward to my kids talking.. but this feeling has now passed… I now eagerly await the time they become totally self sufficient.. and despite my dad telling me this never happens.. I still live in hope.
On a happier note.. Looks like Iran may soon be getting DEMOCRACY.. Lucky them, bet they cant wait.. Personally I think it’s a bad idea as Arabs just don’t look as cool wearing baseball caps and goatee beards… still! If its all in the name of world peace and cheaper petrol.. Who's to complain? I just spent about 2 bleedin hours reading through all my entries just to make sure there was nothing there to cause offence to certain parties... If I mised anything out I do appologise.. dunno why.. but i do. Myabe its the wine, I just drank half a bottle of some Argentinian white I picked up from Coop.. I chose it on account of its price £2.99 bargain!! though the words of my eco-friendly sister went through my head as I walked to the checkout.. food miles. food miles..

On a less gripey note... took the kidos to Green Wood Forest Park today.. it was amazing.. lovely and hot and full of fun stuff for adu.. kids to do.. like archery and going on the dragon coaster and the Jungle Boats... Though I did have to pay five quid for a Cajun chicken sandwich I could have made myself for about a pound.. I'd recommend the place to anyone with kids.. though take a picknick.. My son's face on the Dragon Coaster was a picture.. somewhere between terror and ecstasy, makes me laugh even now..
